(79) Paket von Keymaster

Package from Keymaster Hey guys. Once again, a package… It’s Julian from Lockpicking Nord and um… Today, we got a package from Keymaster By now Keymaster has started his own channel Please visit. He’s already uploaded a couple cool videos He’s been busy he’s already uploaded his 7th video. 6 days ago So it’s probably time for another one. So… Keymaster asked us or rather told us that he’d like to make a challenge lock for us and send it our way and I’m very excited I’ve already seen a couple of his challenge locks picked by other lockpickers and I liked them. And it’s always nice to have our ranks bolstered by another german lockpicker in the vicinity. To start trading maybe. Who knows ? Let’s just have a look inside now. So, lots of bubble wrap That’s a good sign… I’ll just empty the box quickly This looks like everything’s been wrapped meticulously Neatly sewn, that’s cool Small paper bags I believe that’s it So here we’ve got… Let’s start with this box one each. So there’s 1 inside It’s an American Lock I believe Tobi told me about it. An American that cannot be picked and cannot be disassembled and um… Something to tinker with… I’m curious what’s the problem with this lock ? Maybe I can fix it… Okay. It’s a pretty old Series 200 with US branding And a Junkunc Bros bow We’ve got one like this. Very similar, at least Very cool. It’s a tough lock I hope I can bring it back to life with some loving care. Since the core is turning, I’m guessing there’s something wrong with the locking mechanism The warding looks very worn, too We’ll see That you for this lock ! I love a good tinkering challenge Now here’s a small ACO Temp Made in Italy, very cool. a very small italian padlock. Very small indeed. Next to the series 200 A very cool lock. Nicely engraved I don’t believe there was a key included But I’ll recheck Now there’s a… Whatever this is… A Burg An old Burg lock Some time ago they were just named Burg Also an old key. I happen to have an old Burg here It’s even older. It’s a Burg #10 with 6 levers They’ve been called Burg before. Now it’s Burgwächter Maybe after a merger or so… Well. It looks old, for sure But it’s still working well It’s a standard lock, with a large keyway. That’s good and a 5 pin key. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Yes, a 5 pin key Very cool Very cool. I’ve never seen this old kind before I’ve seen them on ebay, but I didn’t even know which size they were, actually That’s hard to tell when looking at a picture, sometimes. Could be interesting… That’s 3 unusual padlocks and here’s another one. It looks like a … yes It looks like an American but I believe it’s not It’s a Reese U.S. It’s resembles an old brass american. American Brand Lock, but It’s still slightly different The core looks different and it’s lacking… oh lots of spring tension there… Even those smaller American Locks have a… well it looks like a rekeyable core, but’s it’s actually riveted This doesn’t even look rekeyable Boy that’s some spring tension. Here’s also written Z794ZAA Maybe it’s been keyed alike some time ago And I just broke it, apparently I hope I didn’t I believe I’ve got another task … No It’s locked again It’s got extremely high spring tension extremely high This should be fun, since the keyway is pretty small, too In comparison to that tiny italian lock Yes, the keyway’s pretty small It’s looks intimidating It’s a lock I’ve never seen before. Very cool, Keymaster I’m wondering if you’ve made a video on that lock, but I don’t think so I’ll have to recheck. Now here’s the exciting stuff The even more exiting stuff… 10a and 10b, T& J
Gutting 30°. 30° We got a challenge lock, each How cool is that ? It’s like an address 10a and 10b This one’s Tobias’ side That’s awesome A cool idea It’s good thing we’re doing this YouTube channel together. It wouldn’t work as well, otherwise A very cool idea, Keymaster. Really awesome This is my side. It doesn’t look too bad, so far. The key’s got a pretty decent bitting Looks like it’s been handmade the edges are a bit rounded It isn’t working, so far I’m not sure what’s the matter but… sometimes they just need some love Tobi’s side is working bitting is a bit harder It isn’t working either what did I do ? Those c-clips aren’t attached all the way Maybe if I’d just fix them so everything stays in place The address is 10a and 10b. He almost hit it. We’re not living that close to each other. It’s the same village but… A very cool idea Keymaster. I’m really looking forward to do this one. I’ll try my side right after the video Awesome. 7-30. So it’s not that old either Cool. Then we’ve got another little paper bag Oh, that’s very… damn it’s short Keymaster #12 It’s a Basi … and here’s “Are you kidding me ?” Isn’t that true ? The key’s… The key’s or rather the pins are zero lift apparently Here’s one slight cut and all the others…. I just noticed it’s a 3 pinner “Are you kidding me?” That’s the perfect name Very cool. Apparently you’re full of great ideas It’s a good thing you’re part of the lockpicking communtiy and you’ve started you’re own channel and you’re building fun locks. I’m rally happy I’m very happy I got those locks. Keymaster #12 I’m excited to see how they pick 8-13. Pretty new Cool. Very very cool. I’m really excited We’re going to send you something in return. I’m sure Not in the next couple weeks probably, but we’ll work something out We’re getting a couple of other packages done. 3 are going to America and We’ve really got to get them on their way Then I have to do a couple more things and then maybe I can do something just for you As payback for this one We’ll see. Okay folks, I hope you’ve liked it. I hope you’ve also been excited about these locks and maybe, soon we’ll see each other in a picking video See you soon. Bye ! We open no other locks than our own or that were given to us by the owner solely for that purpose. Hands off of other people’s locks !

Very very cool package from Keymaster 😃✌. He is a cool and funny guy and definitely has good picking and lockmaking skills :). Awesome idea with the double challenge lock and that short one 😱🤣, so cute, but it might turn out quite nasty ;D. Padlocks are also very cool and I have no doubt that you will have fun rescueing that American 200 Julian :). Thanks a lot for sharing and have fun 🙂 👋🦊.

Great video buddy and, good to see you back on channel my friend. Awesome set of locks from Keymaster too. Look forward to seeing these being picked on your channel, really soon 😁👍 Nice touch, with the double challenge euro lock as well, even if the keys don't fit lol 😂 He might of given you the right keys but, you've got to pick it first, rearrange the pins, and then put it back together, to make use of the key? 🤔 Still, nice lock, even if keys are wrong ones 😁👍

    Hey guys,
I just wanted to drop y'all a note.
I couldn't locate your email address so this was the best option. Lol
I finally got y'alls package off.
I hope it's travels are safe. Lol
The package weighs a bit over the limit for a sm flat rate box so it was sent priority mail. I hope this is ok.
Thanks again for all y'all do!!

Those Reese locks are more commonly found with the Waterbury name on them. It is an inserted core lock with very tight tolerances and a pin to prevent turning of the core in the bottom of the keyway.

Dann springen doch die Pinns gegenüber hoch, was macht man dann?

Würde mich auf eine Antwort freuen 😺

    LG Tim
