    man i was practicing the handstand kick up against the wall, the max progression im on with perfect form and control and the part in your video of 5 steps (the first video i saw about 4 days ago which got me started in calisthenics interest) where you talk about the click in your brain on the balancing with your fingers and that palm bone just happened. ty chris for opening the door

    So Chris I have a question for you I’m someone trying to get back into the shape I once was lol years ago. I’m 36 this 27th and I use to be in great shape Or at least I’d like to think. So my question, diet and meals is the hardest thing for me because I’m older and yea to be honest i just don’t know how to plan it I watched your what I eat video and I have one problem I don’t eat vegetables any chance I can get some help or Suggestions

    Hey Chris learn first how to do proper squats, learn how fibers type I, type IIA, type IIX works and stop giving this BS videos ( there’s absolutely no evidence of drops sets are more beneficial, actually drops set pretty much only recruit type I fibers)…… just stick with calisthenics

    Again with the nonsense. First of all. Dropsets are not more effective than regular sets. Its just one way of training that might be effective. Second of all, you should never do dropsets doing squats the way you do it in the video. Thats just begging for injury and its just fuckin stupid. Thats just a trick people do to get views and its not a safe way of training. Chris you should stick with what you know and learn to squat first if you`re gonna show the squat at all

    By “first layer” I think you meant type 1 muscle fibers which is exactly what drop sets recruit…so In actuality heavier weight for lower repetitions would actually do what you intended to suggest in this video which was recruitment of type 2/X muscle fibers 💁🏾‍♂️ @mr_motiv8_fitness

    Chris, stop squatting or learn how to squat properly. Also, read up on the Henneman principle. Drop sets don't recruit more motor units than straight sets, higher intensity loads do.

    Please, please, do not take exercise science information from this video seriously. We all understand Chris is one of the best & strongest calisthenics athletes out there with top-tier quality videos but do not let it distract you from the fact that the information he's spewing is literally the opposite of how muscle fibers work and how barbell back squats should be performed. Chris is a talented athlete, not a qualified fitness professional with sufficient exercise science knowledge. I would strongly recommend any of Shredded Sports Science or Athlean-X informative videos to correctly view how muscle fiber recruitment works and with proper execution. Don't confuse admiration with qualification.

    Your demonstration looks dangerous, mate. Clench your hands and keep your back straight or you will get hurt and others copying you will definitely get hurt.

    Worse so, you're not following your own advice you just gave prior to the demonstration. Take this video downb efore people get hurt, re-shoot a new one with genuine advice and sports science, not advice from a magazine.

    If drop sets work, then this guy and his squat are a terrible example considering that was what im guessing a 45 plus two 35s, altogether 275? And he never broke parallel. It wasnt til he was down to 45s that he got in like 2 that were just under the hip crease. If it wasnt atg, far as i and the entire weight lifting community is concerned, you didnt squat that day. Learn proper form or stick to the calisthenics youre good at and maybe people might listen a little more. Meanwhile tho, yall should go check out @Austin Dunham. Great calisthenics athlete, learning how to lift weights the right way, and hes generally more muscular so he def knows what hes doing, unlike some people who wear big sweaters at cons to hide his tiny baby muscles. 😂😂

    Stay in your lane Chris. Ure an extraordinary bar athlete but not only did u fuck up when it comes to nutrition & fat burning, but also when it comes to science behind drop sets. Just keep it to calisthenics tutorials and let other qualified youtubers handle other aspects of fitness especially when it comes to sports science and tutorials of heavy lifts which i think you arent adequately qualified from the perspective of accuracy & safety etc

    Instead of people trying to shit on him for his squats how about you actually present some sort of legitimate critique. His form isn't all that bad and it's certainly not dangerous, you always have small form breakdowns when executing a compound movement with a heavy weight that requires more effort. Yes, the stripping of weights while holding the weight isn't a smart thing to do but other than that I saw nothing wrong or at least nothing dangerous about the squats themselves… Bunch of people in here just looking to appear smarter than the next by parroting comments.

    His squat is really not that bad, his back remained straight and he would go down to parallel and he used reasonable weight for his level of strength, he may have had some minor errors explaining muscle fibers and that’s okay he is human not every channel is perfect and it shouldn’t diminish what a drop set could do, especially for body weight movements which made up most of the video anyways. If I do 4 handstand push ups and then go down to pike pushups right after and keep going, Next time I do handstand push-ups 4 reps wouldn’t be as hard anymore because my body adapted and increased my work capacity and most likely induced hypertrophy do to a longer time under tension. If you are a powerlifter and want to try out something new like calisthenics then that’s awesome, when you workout try out the new moves you have decided to implement and when you get to squat just stick to the technique you learned as a powerlifter and you will still continue to better your health and fitness.

Ofcourse, i 'm against dropsets and this squat technique with this bad form, but was wondering if these sheep below knew that before watching sss?🤔 I highly doubt that after looking at the history of video upload with respect to comments in coincidence with james linker's video.
