The cheapest, legal way to buy an Office product key

The Internet is full of offers for discounted
Office product keys, but are they too good to be true? And what’s the cheapest legit way to buy
Microsoft Office? I’ve got the answers for you. This is Dave’s Tech Rescue, where I solve
your problems with computers, Internet and technology. If you have a question you’d like to ask
me, leave it in the comments below and I’ll do my best to answer it. And remember to subscribe so you don’t miss
my next video, where I might be answering your question. Today’s question: What’s the cheapest,
legal way to buy Microsoft Office? It can seem expensive to pay the full price
for Office and Office 365 on the Microsoft website. So it makes sense to start looking
around to see if it’s cheaper elsewhere. By the way, this video is not sponsored and
I’m not taking money to promote any website or product. If you search the Internet for an Office product
key, you’ll find some rock bottom prices. But I’m a big believer that if something
sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Microsoft do sell product keys to other vendors
at wholesale prices, so that they can sell them on at a profit. But when you see really cheap keys for sale,
there’s probably something not right happening there. First let’s have a look at why you should
never buy the really cheap product keys, then I’ll show you where you can buy a cheap,
legal product key. A lot of the illegal websites are selling
volume licence keys. Basically, when big companies want to put Office on all of their computers,
they don’t buy an office licence for each individual machine, they pay for a volume
licence that covers all the computers. And every so often, someone in a company will
start selling the volume licence illegally, and it makes its way onto these illegal websites. Another way these websites get their product
keys is through a crime called ‘carding’. Think of all the people who have their credit
card details stolen online. The criminals need a way to spend money fast, and one way
they do this is to buy software product keys, and then sell the product keys on at a huge
discount. So apart from these cheap keys being illegal,
why should you care? Well I’ve seen people buy these product keys and they’ve worked
for a short while – but a few months later, maybe they need to buy a new computer, or
maybe the software just doesn’t work and they need to reinstall it again, and they
find that the dodgy software key that they bought suddenly doesn’t work. Also, if you’re buying something on a shady
website you’ve never used before, how do you know they’re not going to scam you,
take all your money and not deliver anything? There is a way to buy Office keys more cheaply
than what Microsoft charge, and it’s completely legal. You go to Amazon, and look for the
version of Office you want, and look for the option for Activation Code by Email. These keys are supplied directly by Amazon,
rather than a third party seller. I’ve never had a problem using the keys supplied directly
by Amazon, and they can still be cheaper than the official Microsoft price. Once you order
the software, you’re given a product key straight away, which you can type into your
Microsoft account. And here’s a pro tip – Microsoft will
try to talk you into renewing automatically with them in a year’s time, but you don’t
have to. Just put a note in your diary to buy another key from Amazon in 12 months’
time. Hopefully this video helped you get a discount
from Amazon rather than paying full price for Office on the Microsoft website. Let me know in the comments how much you saved,
and don’t forget to give this video the thumbs up. And if you’d like to see more tutorials

My dad run a company, and he bought Windows 10 Pro for 268$ and Microsoft Office from the officel website.

On G2A you can buy Windows 10 Pro for 24$ and Office 365 for 39$.

I already have Spotify for 3$ a month, and Netflix for 6,7$ a month (billed from a cheaper country – Philippines). For those won want spotify for free on "computer only" should get the software called EZblocker+, this provent ads and lets you skip.

literally wasted 3 minutes of my life to tell me to go to amazon… No need to explain the ramifications considering anyone who clicked on your title is trying to avoid any legal issues anyways.

Thanks Dave really enjoying your channel. I’m still using office 2010 and suspect I’ll need to change to 365 in future. Can you keep your old emails from 2010 when upgrading to 365. Many thanks.
